One of the local residents is something of a collector, which in and of itself isn’t that remarkable, even in Nutjob Hills there are quite a number of collectors. Of course, some of the local collectors tend to focus on some uncommon things to collect. This guy is one such example.
He collects television sets.
That’s right, television sets. He owns a ten acre piece of property on the outskirts of town and on that property he’s built a warehouse. In it there is what may well be the single largest collection of television sets ever assembled in one place.
Walking through that warehouse is a lesson in television set design history. Every manufacturer name is represented from Philco to Zenith to Samsung, Panasonic, Sony and so on.
He’s got a few from the late 1940’s, at least one of everything built in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s as well as examples of most models built since then.
But you know what’s really funny about this guy?
He doesn’t watch television. Doesn’t even have one at home. Says all it does is rot your brain.
