Having lived here in Nutjob Hills for as long as I have I’ve gotten used to some of the strangest things. Anything from door to door salesmen knocking on my door at 4:30 am selling wrinkle cream to the kid down the block who will gladly offer to cut your lawn for $2 an hour . . . and then show up to do it with a pair of scissors instead of a lawn mower.
There’s the guy that washes his car with a toothbrush. What’s really odd about that is that it can’t be just any toothbrush. No it’s got to be a particular brand that is only sold in a small village in Norway, which explains why every year he takes his vacation there and comes back with a case of toothbrushes.
What’s the weirdest thing that goes on in your neighborhood? Odds are good that I can top it with a Nutjob hills story.
