Google Upping The Ante Against Microsoft?

October 30th, 2008 | Posted in Current Events | Comments Off

It certainly LOOKS like Google’s founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin are stepping things up in their big war with Microsoft. Now me, If I had the kind of money they’ve got, I’d invest in all kinds of tech toys & creature comforts .. state of the art computer systems, monitors big enough to need tv lifts, multi-terrabyte hard drives… all in addition to using that money to see how much good could be done with it.

What do these guys do? According to an item on the NYTimes Blog somebody at Google or a Google owned company has bought a Dornier Alpha fighter jet.

The NYTimes blog did mention something about it being used for some NASA related missions but I can’t help wonder if Steve Ballmer gets a little nervous thinking about Google owning fighter jets.

From here at least, it’s looking like a good movie.
